Xmas in Oz

Here’s an Ozzie Christmas

Lunch was sensational! Danelle knocked up one of the nicest meals I’ve ever had and the family came around.

It was 39 degrees C today – hot as!…

So this evening we headed down to the local beach for Christmas ‘dinner’ with a few friends from the community. This pic was taken at 7.00pm when it was still 32 degrees C.

Gotta love an Ozzie Xmas!

The top temp at 4:02 p.m. was 40.7.

I’m glad you found a way to cool down. Thankfully we were in airconditioning all day.

Does this bring back memoires. I was in Melbourne one year for Christmas. We had a great time. Opened gifts then went to the beach. Strange but fun.

I miss Oz a lot.

Our day was not quite so extreme this year. just hit 30 degrees, was overcast all day and we even had the smallest of showers in the afternoon.

Qld – not quite so perfect on Chrissy Day… but it was a nice change to be able to sit out on the deck without dieing from the heat.
